SCAD collaborated with Samsung in early 2019 to research and develop concepts for an enhanced smartphone communication experience; combining technology development and the core value of the smartphone.

This was a multi-disciplinary collaboration. I was a part of the motion design team that assisted in the design of the layout of the app with User Experience Designers and also figured out how the screens should animate between one another. I also worked on the branding for the projecting by assisting in creating the logo, the name, and a 3D logo reveal in Cinema4D.

Every once in a while, a new technology, an old problem, and a big idea turn into innovation.

UI Motion

A big part of the project was the UI motion demonstrations that would be use to, show the client how this all-in-one app would look in use. As a team we created several mockups for all of our enhanced features.

UI Motion Tests I was responsible for were the main feed, Smart Drawer on both the front small screen and the large interior screen, and predictive multitasking.
